Interactive Digital Media Work
Fall 2019, I fulfilled my Digital Studies Minor requirement partaking in class, COMM 362. Over the course of the semester, I gained valuable knowledge in Photoshop, InDesign, GIMP, Inkscape, HTML, CSS, Scratch, Processing, Bootstrap, & JavaScript.
We learned the groundwork of Analog vs. Digital, Markup vs. Layout, Algorithms & Search Engines, Programming Fundamentals, Scoping, Typing, and Open Source, as well as APIs, Data Exchange, Platforms, Lock-in, the Open Web, and Online Audience Tracking. All important topics that have thus enhanced my engagement with and overall understanding of digital.
In this class, we were tasked with applying our knowledge using real programs. Below you can find some of the work created in this class.
